FAQ'S On Sms Application


1. What is Transactional Service?
In transactional service, we can send the message only to the subscribe people and the content of the message should be only transactional/informative.

2. What is promotional service?
In promotional service, we can send any kind of messages to promote the business etc. Note: Messages cannot be send to DND numbers.

3. Difference between promotional & Transactional Service?

4. What is Unicode?
Messages can be sent in different languages which is refered has Unicode messages.

5. What is opt in service?
Opt-in means to Opt for a particular services. If client want to send sms from transactional route to unknown subscriber then he need to request the subscribers to opt. Subscriber can send an sms with keyword to provided number. Once subscriber send an sms he would be considered under Option group and would be liable to receive sms.


6. What is a Sender ID ?
Sender id is a header which is been seen when the sms is received on handset.

7. What is the size of Sender ID?
Sender id should be of 6 digits alphabetic only.

8. What is Customised SMS ?
Customised sms is used to send personalised sms to n number of subscribers w.r.t their names and respective details at one go. Customised sms can be used by using microsoft excel sheet. Eg : Dear Sudhakar , Your child Prabhu have scored 75% in exams.

9.How can i see my reports for sms sent ?
We have an section called SENT ITEMS on our application where you can view the complete reports for the sms sent from your account.

10. How can i extract reports of past days ?
We have option of REPORTS under section SENT ITEMS from where your can extract the reports date wise of past days. We have facility of extracting reports from our sms application of last 30 days.

11. How can i request for approval of sender id ?
We have option of MANAGE SENDER ID under section MANAGE ITEMS , Where you have facility of creating a new sender id in your sms a/c.

12. Can i save my contacts in my sms a/c ?
Yes. You can save all the contacts in GROUP with name. We have a option called MANAGE GROUP under section MANAGE ITESM where you can create groups and save contact numbers.

13. How to change password of my sms a/c ?
Under settings section you have a feature of changing the current password of your sms a/c.

14. How to get the API ?
You can download the HTTP/XML API document from your sms a/c under DEVELOPER section.

15. What is working key ?
Working key acts as credentials for your sms a/c to send sms from API. Working key is manadatory to send sms from API.

16. How can i generate API key for my sms a/c ?
Under DEVELOPER section we have provided a facilty of creating API key.

17. What is IP specific API key ?
You can white list your server IP while generating working key from where your would be trigerring API. It is like If you want to use the HTTP/XML API from a specific Server(IP) only and should not be used by any other server(IP).

1. What is two may messaging..??
Two Way Messaging is a platform which allows you to receive and send SMS. This allows you complete flexibility in managing your incoming messages. You can modify/alter or delete these received messages as per your need.


2. What are the types of two may messaging..??
There are two types of two-way messaging.
a. Short Code
b. Long Code


Short Code

3. What is Short code..??
Short codes (also known as short numbers) are special telephone numbers, significantly shorter than full telephone numbers that can be used to address SMS from certain service provider’s mobile phones or fixed phones.

4. What are the types of Short Codes..?
a. Shared Short code
b. Dedicated Short code

5. What is primary keyword?
Primary keyword is a keyword which would be configured for your company/organization on shared short code for receiving incoming request from subscriber.
Eg : Sms BULKSMSSMPP to 56767 ( Here BULKSMSSMPP is a primary keyword )

6. What is secondary keyword on short code..??
Secondary Keyword is a sub keyword of primary keyword. Secondary keyword can be created only if you have primary keyword created. Secondary keyword can be created for having validations on campaigns.
Eg : INFINI is a primary keyword.
SMS to BULKSMSSMPP <SPACE> SMS to 56767 (Here BULKSMSSMPP becomes a secondary keyword)


Long Code

7. What is long code..?? Long code also known as virtual mobile number, is a reception mechanism used by businesses to receive SMS messages.
Long code is a 10 digit number number that is designed for easy to remember and to use for premium services and can work with every operator on a single number you can get different keywords which can be your company name or your product name like you see in TV ads {OFFER -> 9900099000} and a premium rate of SMS will be applicable that is setup by cellular operators.

9. What is dedicated Long code..?
In a dedicated long code a dedicated number of customer choice will be given to a company, in which they can create n number of keywords and sub keywords.

10. Do you provide the User Interface Two way sms serviced??
Yes, we do provide the user friendly panel for our customers, Where you would be able to view the incoming request in complete details like Date & Time, Subscriber Number, Message Content, Subscriber Origin.

11. How do I get Reports?
Client can download the reports into excel format from provided login for User interface.

12. How do I reset my password?
Client will be provided with feature of change password in User interface where he/she will have a privilege of resetting the password.

13. Can I white label my application?
Yes, you can white label your application.

14. How do I count incoming request I receive on particular month? You can find the total incoming request for every month in the resources tab.

15. What is trigger URL?
Trigger URL is a URL which connects the application from our server to your server. Our application would trigger the incoming request received on application on real time basis on URL configured.

1. Can we make use of miss call service from land line number?
Yes.

2. Can we set sender-id for auto reply message on miss call service?
Yes. We can set a customized auto reply text.

3. Any limitation on usage on miss call per day?
There is no limitation on miss calls on per day usage.

4. Can we extract the report on miss call?
Yes can extract all the reports.

5. Can we get region wise report on miss call?
Yes, we can have region wise report on incoming number on miss call.
